[Main Ingredients] Diclazuril
[Description] This drug is of off-white to light yellow soluble granules.
[Pharmacological Action] Anticoccidial drug. Diclazuril has a coccidial effect against Eimeria species in poultry, including E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, and E. maxima, as well as Eimeria ankorensis and Eimeria stiedae. Its peak efficacy is during the early stages of sporozoite and first-generation merozoite development. Clinically, it is used for the prevention of avian coccidiosis.
[Function and Use] Anticoccidial drug, for the prevention of avian coccidiosis.
[Dosage and Administration] On the basis of this drug. Mixed drinking: 0.17-0.34g per 1L of water for chickens.
[Adverse Reaction] No adverse reactions have been observed with the proper use of the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] (1) It is prohibited to be used for laying hens during the laying period.
(2) This drug has a short duration of action. The anticcoccidial efficacy is significantly reduced after one day of withdrawal, and is essentially absent after two days. Therefore, continuous administration is necessary to prevent coccidiosis recurrence.
(3) Prolonged use of this drug may lead to the development of drug resistance.
