[Description] This drug is of white or off-white granules.
[Pharmacological Action] Amide alcohol antibiotics. This drug exhibits a broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, with a more pronounced effect on Gram-negative bacteria compared to Gram-positive bacteria. They are effective against bacteria such as Salmonella typhi, Paratyphoid bacillus, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella, as well as sensitive Gram-positive bacteria, including anthrax bacillus, streptococcus, Corynebacterium, pneumococcus, and staphylococcus.
[Function and Use] Amide alcohol antibiotics, for the treatment of intestinal infections in chickens caused by Escherichia coli.
[Dosage and Administration] On the basis of this drug. Mixed drinking: 1g per 1L of water for chickens, administered for 3-5 consecutive days.
[Adverse Reaction] (1) This drug possesses hematological properties, primarily manifesting as reversible inhibition of red blood cell production, with no documented cases of aplastic anemia.
(2)It exhibits embryotoxicity, warranting caution in the use for livestock during gestation and lactation periods.
(3)The drug is known for its potent immunosuppression actions.
[Precautions]
(1)It is prohibited for use in animals with severely compromised immune functions or during vaccination periods.
(2)In cases of renal insufficiency in animals, adjustments in dosage or prolongation of administration intervals are required.
