[Main Ingredients] Glutaral

[Description] This drug is of colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with irritating odor.

[Pharmacological Action] Glutaral is a disinfectant and antiseptic with broad spectrum, high efficiency and quick-acting disinfection effect. It has a rapid bactericidal effect on both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, and has a good killing effect on bacterial propagules, spores, viruses, tuberculosis and fungi. The aqueous solution has the best antibacterial effect when the pH value is 7.5-7.8.

[Function and Use] Aldehyde disinfectant and antiseptic, for the treatment of disinfection of rubber and plastic articles and surgical instruments.

[Dosage and Administration] On the basis of glutaral. Prepared to 2% or 5% solution.

[Adverse Reaction] No adverse reactions have been observed with the proper use of the recommended dosage and administration.

[Precautions] (1) As it may cause contact dermatitis or skin allergic reaction under normal concentration, contact with skin and mucous membrane should be avoided.

(2) Mistaking can give rise to inflammation, necrosis and ulcer of digestive tract mucosa, causing severe pain, vomiting, hematemesis, bloody stool, hematuria, anuria, acidosis, convulsion and circulatory failure.

[Withdrawal Period] It is not required.
