[Main Ingredients] Apramycin sulfate
[Description] This drug is of light yellow to yellow transparent liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] Aminoglycoside antibiotics. Apramycin has antibacterial activity against a variety of gram negative bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, Klebsiella, proteus, Pasteurella, Treponema hyodyseae, Bordetella bronchitis, Staphylococcus, and mycoplasma. The unique chemical structure of Apramycin can resist the inactivation of inactivating enzymes encoded by a variety of plasmids, so gram negative bacteria are less resistant to it. There is no cross resistance caused by chromosome mutation with other aminoglycosides.
[Function and Use] Aminoglycoside antibiotics, for the treatment of intestinal infection caused by Gram-negative bacteria in pigs.
[Dosage and Administration] Intramuscular injection: 0.2ml per 1kg of body weight for pigs, once a day.
[Adverse Reaction] No adverse reactions have been observed with the proper use of the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] Long term or large-scale administration may cause nephrotoxicity.
[Withdrawal Period] 28 days.
