[Main Ingredients] Acriflavine hydrochloride
[Description] This drug is of orange red transparent liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] Acriflavine hydrochloride is a kind of antigen insecticides, which have effects on Babesia equi, Babesia bicalcarata, Babesia bovis, Babesia bovis, and Ovine Babesia. However, it is ineffective against Theileria and Anaplasma. After 12-24 hours of intravenous injection, the body temperature of the affected animal decreased and the parasite disappeared from the peripheral blood circulation. If necessary, the medication can be repeated once every 1-2 days. During the season of Giardia infestation, animals can be injected once a month, which has a good preventive effect.
[Function and Use] Antigen worm drug, for Giardia disease.
[Dosage and Administration] Intravenous injection: usual dose, 0.6-0.8 ml/time per 1kg of body weight for horses and cattle; 0.6ml/time per 1kg of body weight for sheep and pigs. Extreme dose, 400ml/time for horses and cattle; 100ml/time for sheep and pigs.
[Adverse Reaction] (1) Due to the strong toxicity of this drug, adverse reactions such as increased heart rate, restlessness, respiratory distress, and enhanced intestinal peristalsis often occur after injection.
(2) This drug has a strong irritant effect on tissues.
[Precautions] This drug needs to be injected slowly and should not leak out of the blood vessels. If repeated use is required, it should be done every 24-48 hours.
[Withdrawal Period] It is not required.
