[Main Ingredients] Bethanechol chloride
[Description] This drug is of colorless and transparent liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] This drug can excite M-cholinergic receptors, but has almost no effect on N-cholinergic receptors. Due to its high selectivity towards gastrointestinal and bladder smooth muscles, it has a significant effect on contracting gastrointestinal and bladder smooth muscles, but its effect on the cardiovascular system is weak. Due to its difficulty in being hydrolyzed by cholinesterase in the body, the drug has a long-lasting effect.
[Function and Use] Cholinomimetic drug, for gastrointestinal relaxation, bladder retention, placenta retention, and uterine abscess.
[Dosage and Administration] Subcutaneous injection: 0.02-0.04 ml/time per 1kg of body weight for horses and cattle; 0.1-0.2ml/time per 1kg of body weight for dogs and cats.
[Adverse Reaction] A relatively large dose can cause vomiting, diarrhea, wheezing, and difficulty breathing.
[Precautions] (1) It is prohibited for animals and pregnant animals with complete intestinal obstruction or traumatic gastritis.
(2) Atropine can be used to rescue excessive poisoning.
[Withdrawal Period] It is not required.
